The Young Yogi pits MacFarland, and his brand new partner in the long dreamed of detective agency, against an interesting collection of Chinese agents. The case should be simple. Find out who killed Brian Adams. The problem is, the main suspect is…Brian Adams.
MacFarland and Pierson must not only find the murderer of Brian Adams, they must find out who is the real Brian Adams. Oh, yes, they must also rescue the three-year old prodigy that everyone is trying to “protect” — a boy who may be the next reincarnation of the Panchen Lama.
The Young Yogi is one of the more fun cases MacFarland has undertaken. Not only does he get to work on a case with retired Detective Cynthia Pierson, they have to pretend that they are a dysfunctional married couple seeking spiritual guidance at a Buddhist retreat.
