What has Mathiya Adams been up to?

In my last post, I mentioned that I was moving to California. Who knew how complicated that could be and how much it could disrupt a writer’s routine? Certainly not me! My next move, I promise you, will be conducted by a team of great looking hunks who I can watch as they do EVERYTHING.  And, if I can’t do that, I’m going to move into the sewer pipe with Rufus.

The truth is, I haven’t been completely idle. During my eight months’ absence, I have been working on the Hot Dog Detective Series. I’ve written four books:  Lazy Lawyer, Morose Mistress, Naughty Neighbor,  and Obnoxious Oilman. The first two of those are published and available on Amazon, Barnes & Nobel, Kobo, iBooks, and various other sites. The remaining two books are in final edit phase and will be published shortly. And, in the meantime, I am hard at work on the Paranoid Patient.

So the series continues, albeit at a slower pace than I originally intended.

And, I am trying to get back into the habit of social media. My publisher nagged at me for a couple of months, then gave up in desperation. But fortunately, she’s back to her nagging ways, and I have finally gotten the energy to get back to work.

Getting an air conditioner for my new office also helped. Besides not knowing how much work and red tape is involved in a move, I also underestimated how hot it can be in California. But with a new air conditioner in my office, I have no excuse, do I?
