Mark of the Loon is a fascinating mystery, well-written, and filled with wonderful characters. I think Molly Greene has a good first novel in her Gen Delacourt series, and I look forward to reading more of this spunky lawyer-turned-detective. I particularly enjoyed the manner in which Molly Greene made the quaint cottage an integral part of the mystery. I was quite surprised with the ending, but was pleased that some of the people I suspected of villainy proved to be good guys. I would also like to pretend that I suspected all along who the true villains were, but I must admit, Ms. Greene had me guessing until the end.
This is the first book of Molly Greene’s Gen Delacourt Mystery series.
