I’ve been thinking about a possible sequel to the Hot Dog Detective series. One idea that is floating around in the empty recesses of my brain is the concept of MacFarland and Pierson in their new detective agency.
Things are moving along at a slow but predictable pace until a young woman, Sonia Landis, shows up in their office and says she has a murder that she needs help solving. The only problem she has is that the murder victim has disappeared, and the police claim that no murder has been committed.
“What do you want us to do?” asked Cynthia Pierson.
Sonia smiled hopefully. “I want you to find the victim. And then we can find the killer.”
“We?” repeated MacFarland. “I’m not sure there is a we, Miss Landis. Dealing with killers is too dangerous someone who has no experience.”
